Scott Wikman is a senior reservoir officer at the Goulburn Weir. He is the man who sends the water out to the irrigation channels that are the life arteries of many northern Victorian farmers. "There are lots of gates in the walls of the weir and they help hold back the water - and let it out. The gates are opened by computer, which already has calculated how much water is to go through.
